Join the California School-Based Health Alliance and the Regional Educational Laboratory West (REL West) at WestEd on October 10, 2019 for a free, daylong convening to explore the impacts of trauma on youth development, focusing on building authentic relationships with children and youth and individual and community resilience. This event is designed for Central Valley educators and health, mental health, and other student support practitioners and will showcase promising practices from state and regional schools and health centers.

National Summit on the Social Determinants of Health

The Root Cause Coalition is proud to be hosting the Fourth Annual Summit on the Social Determinants of Health on October 20-22, 2019 in San Diego, California. At last year’s summit we were joined by more than 600 attendees from 42 different states, representing a wide variety of professions; all of whom are engaged and committed to learning and sharing real world interventions to address social determinants of health and health inequities.
